Conventional medicine trades discomfort for extended life. Their procedures are not based on sensitivity tests. IPT targets results.

The courage to stop conventional chemotherapy
It was July, 2009 and I was becoming progressively weaker and less confident as I endured my first six cycles of traditional chemotherapy. Educating myself on homeopathic alternatives and, with my oncologist’s blessing, I shut down my chemo halfway through its planned 12 cycles. Substituting a kinder, gentler but, to my mind no less effective treatment regimen, I initiated an aggressive alternative course of action with Medicine of HOPE.
That was one and a half years ago. Since then, my ongoing scans and blood workups indicate that I had cancer-free, with my straight energy levels have long-since surpassed those of most guys my age. Fighting cancer is a marathon and not a sprint, but I feel very positive about a long and active future thanks to the ongoing efforts of Dr. Schwengel and his staff. When traditional medicine offers only tenuous, limited options, it pays to think outside the box!

Finding a whole person approach to cancer treatment
About nine months ago a sore appeared on my cheek that did not heal within a reasonable time. After trying a few commercial remedies with no luck I went to a dermatologist. She looked at my face and concluded that the sore was in fact, basal cell cancer. The doctor cauterized the area then recommended surgery to remove the area plus a much larger section of my cheek. This sounded rather drastic and I wondered if there wasn’t a better, less invasive yet more complete method of resolving the cancer. So I called Dr. Schwengel.
A few days later I met Dr. Schwengel in his office and he examined my face. He then asked me to hold in my hand a small metal pole that connected me to his computer. Then he began testing. The computer is amazing! Using the information from the computer program and putting it together with the information gained from our talk and my previous medical resords, he was able to diagnose exactly what my issue was and exactly what was needed to remedy the situation. There was no guesswork involved! Dr. Schwengel prescribed specific whole food supplements and devised a program to bring me back to wellness. Two days after taking the nutritional medicine I felt better than I had in years!
Then Dr. Schwengel began a series of intravenous treatments involving chelation and ozone. This process of daily treatments went on over a four week period. After two weeks the sore had vanished leaving only the scare from where the dermatologist had cauterized the area. At the end of the fourth week my face had cleared up of other spots also and I felt great.
Another exam and a blood test revealed that I was in great health and, this is the part I really love, there was no cancer in my body. So instead of just cutting out a spot, leaving a large hole and not being sure if the issue had been resolved, I now know with great confidence that I’m cancer free everywhere without the need to have surgery! Yes, Dr. Schwengel’s process takes longer than 15 minutes under the knife but I feel this is a far better option. I highly recommend Dr. Schwengel.

Dealing with irritable bowel syndrome
Today I saw Dr. Schwengel and I’m pleased to say that I am finished with my treatments, and will only return on an as needed basis of which I decide. I can’t believe how much I’ve progressed naturally since my first appointment. Even now, the way I was before mentally and physically, seem like something or someone in the distant past.
In the past, I had issues with family members and school mates from way back when, that still dwelled in the back of my mind, constantly haunting me. I was this shy girl afraid to take even the slightest risks and always looking over my shoulder, unable to trust anyone, not to mention my own abilities. In the past three months, I have been more confident, trusting, and outgoing and I’m not even afraid to walk my dog alone to the mailbox anymore. I have been more active.
I wake up at decent times and go to bed early. I sleep soundly and solidly, not awaking to every slightest noise then taking 20- 60 plus minutes to fall back asleep. I no longer have nightmares, which was an every night thing. I’m not afraid to go outside of my home or be home alone.
It is just absolutely amazing to me because I went to Dr. Schwengel as a last desperate attempt to get my Lymphatic Colitis and Interstitial Cystitis (IC) under control. Both diseases are not very life threatening, but are life-changing. Colitis is constant, painful diarrhea and IC is like the worst bladder infection every day, and because of them I would spend several hours in the restroom every day and night. Before, my IC prevented me from eating healthy foods- the rule was “the more colorful and luscious or juicy it is, the worse it will make me feel”. I was lacking in all the main nutrition’s. Between my IC and Colitis, I had been on what feels like hundreds of medications, pills, antibiotics- you name it. I was in and out of several different doctors’ offices several times a week.
I was also depressed and worried that I would never get healthy, or at least get to a tolerable living condition. And even more depressing is that I had been told by more than one doctor that I would never be allowed to have children because I would either be bed ridden my entire pregnancy or my child would not get the nutrients it needed. Thus the baby would be weak and frail, or it would come to the point where my family would have to make the hard decision of choosing my life or the baby’s. But that isn’t the case anymore.
Right after my first appointment, which was only the consultation, I noticed a huge difference. My mind was going through every thing that ever bothered me; from being in third grade and being called names for having darker hairy arms and legs (which led to an eight year old me learning how to shave), to being a teenager in high school living with no real friends, traveling from group to group because I was “the new girl” and sitting at home waiting for phone calls that never came from “friends” who had promised to call for a time to get together, but didn’t. I subconsciously went through every relationship I had ever had, and instead of growing sad or angry, my mind finally went “Just let go”, and I haven’t been bothered by the little or big things since.
Each passing day I felt stronger and everyone I have come in contact with has noticed. I feel happier and whole. I have been trying new things that I once feared; like vegetables and even fish (I still don’t like it, but I can stomach eating it). I have even tried trapezing, even though I would previously tell myself I was afraid of heights or “what would happen if the net broke, or a wire broke, or the guy won’t catch me, or I get stuck…”, and when I did it, it was thrilling and I thought “I’ve missed out on so much, I want to do more.” My fears no longer control me. I didn’t expect to have such wonderful “side effects” from going to Dr. Schwengel just to make my IC and Colitis tolerable. Mine and my husband’s absolute favorite side effect now is that I am having a very healthy and normal pregnancy, to which my IC doctor! OBGYN is amazed.
Because I no longer react to foods, I have been eating everything that I haven’t been able to for almost 5 years- fruits, vegetables, Italian foods, anything with spices, everything that most people take for granted. My life is no longer spent in the bathroom or curled up on my bed crying in pain. More importantly, I am going to be a mother to a beautiful and healthy baby girl in January, and I feel like I owe it all to Dr. Schwengel.

A personal story of a medical miracle
The doctors told my mother she had advanced cancer – melanoma and lymphoma. She could not even go home, she was already scheduled for surgery the following morning. The surgery removed most of the tumor mass, but the cancer was widely spread and she was given just three months more to live, maybe six months if she took chemotherapy and radiation.
Instead of that she began a program of whole food nutrition using lots of fruits and raw vegetables with juicing several times daily, along with an intensive program of nutritional supplementation. Her sister and mother moved in with her to help. She also began to heal her relationships – mostly with herself.
A year later she was cancer-free and the doctor finally asked “You shouldn’t be alive today, what are you doing”?
Now it is 30 years later and she takes no medications for anything. The doctor has long since retired and she continues to share her story of recovery with anybody who will listen.
That is a cure!
