When chemotherapy is going to be used, IPTLD™ is by far the safest way of using it. IPTLD™ allows small doses of chemotherapy drugs to be administered during treatment. The use of low-dose chemotherapy can help reduce the size of tumors, stop their growth or control the likelihood of spreading and actually contribute to the healing process. The advantages of using small doses is that the drugs become targeted directly to the cancer tumors and not the healthy tissues. This allows for the therapeutic benefit of selectively targeting cancer cells, while protecting the person from common side-effects of the medications themselves.
