Many herbs have well-documented but little-known effects of helping the body to detoxify from many kinds of heavy metals, such as mercury, lead, and especially platinum, which is often used in chemotherapy. Her son and his family moved in to help care for her. Instead of coming to us for treatment with IPT, she elected to have regular, full-dose chemotherapy. She had her first treatment on Tuesday of last week. Saturday she was taken to the emergency room with dehydration and nausea. Then she developed full-blown kidney failure and slipped into a coma. We learned that this morning they decided to “pull the plug” and took her off of life support.  She expired at 8:14 AM.

The word “alternative” only means that most doctors don’t use that form of medicine, otherwise it wouldn’t be called alternative, it would be conventional.  Usually, the various forms of alternative medicine come from nature and natural products such as whole foods and supplements, herbal medicines, “hands-on” therapies such as massage, energy medicine and lymphatic drainage therapies.  Conventional medicine usually means pharmaceutical drugs that can only be used by a doctor’s prescription.
